The Institute of Contemporary International Studies of the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia hosted a round table on "Technological Sovereignty in the Information Sphere: Challenges and Prospects" within the framework of the School of International Information Security. The round table participants were representatives of government departments, the IT sector and the scientific community.

The meeting was opened by O.Karpovich, Vice-Rector for Research and Scientific Work of the Diplomatic Academy of the MFA of Russia. In his speech, he emphasized the relevance of the chosen problem, taking into account the current international realities.

As a result of the speeches the participants expressed their readiness for further interaction with the IIS School and expressed their recommendations on upcoming events.
