Leading Researcher of the Institute of Contemporary International Studies of the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia A.Grishanov took part in a meeting held at the Russian Institute for Strategic Studies chaired by RISS Director M.Fradkov.

The topic of the meeting was the results of the midterm elections to the US Congress and the impact of the American internal political struggle on the international situation.

A.Grishanov presented an analysis of the relationship between recent events in the United States and the dynamics of Russian-American relations and also expressed hope for the further development of cooperation between ICIS and RISS.
