Vice-Rector for Research and Scientific Work of the Diplomatic Academy of the MFA of Russia O.Karpovich took part in the offsite meeting of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation at the Institute of Scientific Information on Social Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences. During the meeting the draft program for the development of INION RAN for the period 2023-2027 was discussed. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education D.Sekirinsky.

O.Karpovich expressed a positive assessment of the draft program for the development of INION RAN and also made a number of proposals to expand scientific cooperation between the Diplomatic Academy and the Institute: joint preparation of textbooks, monographs, teaching materials; holding scientific conferences, seminars and round tables; informational support of INION RAN for the work of the Center for Comprehensive Studies of World Political Thought, which is being set up on the basis of the ICIS of the Diplomatic Academy.
