Vice-Rector for Research and Scientific Work of the Diplomatic Academy of the MFA of Russia O.Karpovich took part in the preparation of the collective monograph "Modern legal vectors for the development of climate policy. Experience of Russia and foreign countries".

The monograph is devoted to the issues of legal implementation of climate policy against the backdrop of new challenges of our time, climate threats and environmental security in the global context.

Based on comparative studies and an interdisciplinary approach, the authors have examined in detail the instruments and mechanism of legal regulation of climate policy in Russia and abroad. The main factors of the transformation of national environmental law, taking into account the global climate agenda, have been examined. Particular attention is paid to the legal regulation of the implementation of human rights and freedoms in the context of global climate change, as well as international cooperation and assistance at the level of different countries to sustainable development and economic growth through the implementation of climate legislation.

The book is intended for teachers, scientific and practical workers, employees of public authorities, students, undergraduates, graduate students, as well as for everyone who is interested in the problems and directions of development of modern legal science.
