Vladimir Nezhdanov, expert of the ICIS of the Diplomatic Academy, highlightes that the countries of Central Asia hope to use China to overcome regional closeness, to enter world markets and obtain Chinese technology.

V. Nezhdanov states: "If we talk about a certain "common position" in Central Asia, then three key points can be singled out. Firstly, the implementation of projects that may connect the region with the world's oceans and global trade routes by road and rail, which is aimed at overcoming regional closure.

V.Nezhdanov added: "The second point is to attract more Chinese companies and Chinese investors to the region, which, for instantce, is being implemented by Kazakhstan by implementing a visa-free system with China."

V.Nezhdanov concluded: "The third point concerns access to Chinese technology, Chinese education and Chinese science. This is an opportunity for cooperation between universities and research centers. In recent years Chinese universities have begun to take a leading position in international rankings. Therefore, cooperation can open up opportunities for the development of science and education in the region.
