Professors and experts of the Institute of Contemporary International Problems (IAMP) carry out research and expert activity of the Diplomatic Academy. Doctoral and postgraduate students of the Academy, representatives of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, other state structures, Institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences, professors and scientists from friendly countries are also involved in this work.

The research and expert work of the Academy is led by Vice-rector of the Academy, Doctor of Political Sciences, Doctor of Law Oleg G.Karpovich.
